Synchronized phasor measurements technology can be used to measure the electrical quantities in wide area distributed power system, and a new technical path is provided for the security analysis and stability control in large-scale power system. Based on this, this paper studied on synchronous generators dynamic equivalence model's parameter identification problem using the phasor measurements information. First, we studied the identification of a synchronous generators parameter. Apply an algorithm to identify the d axis q axis and rotor motion equations of the 6th order synchronous generator model individually. We validated the validity of the identification algorithm by digital simulation experiment. Secondly, we studied on dynamic equivalence using the phasor measurement information. Deduced an equivalence model to equivalent a power plant's several generators to a synchronous generator, identified the model's parameter by non-liner least square method. Do dynamic equivalence digital simulation experiment by South of Hebei Power System model, the result indicate that the method of this paper have a well precision and feasibility.
