The power consumption of the air-flue gas system is about 30% of the auxiliary power in thermal power plant. To reduce the energy consumption of the air-flue gas system is significant for improving the economical efficiency of boiler in thermal power plant. The energy consumption of the air-flue gas system is analyzed, using the No.1 unit of HENGFENG power plant as the subject. By the energy consumption analysis of, the reason of low operation efficiency of the induced draft fan is found. According to the operation data of air flowrate, air pressure and pipeline network, the induced draft fan is reformed. The influence of air leak of air preheater and furnace bottom to the boiler economy is analyzed, and the air preheater and furnace bottom water block are reformed. The influence of the main parameters of boiler upon the boiler economy is also analyzed, and the operation range of these parameter are suggested.
