In recent years,the major power plants have begun to study how to reduce the power consumption rate,saving energy consumption.According to the current standard of the design and operation of thermal power plants,the facility auxiliary power consumption rate usually up to about 9%,power consumption rate of three fans almost take up to 30% loss,while these devices are often operated by varying the degree of opening of the tailgate to achieve flow adjustment,which resulting in throttling losses,low operating efficiency and energy waste.With the rapid development of electricity and electronics technology,frequency conversion technology as an emerging industry is also gradually rising.To get the desired power output can be achieved by changing the frequency of inverter by adjust the drive speed,which ultimately will produce superior energy-saving effect.To enhance plant control level and reduce the power consumption rate,which can be achieved by choosing a suitable Inverter.Based on the domestic and overseas research of High-voltage Inverter frequency control technologies and its application,firstly,the AC motor speed control types were analyzed,and common VFD and control system were further studied.Moreover,the structures of Induced Draft Fan and it's adjust methods were both investigated,and the two different ways were compared with the throttle and inverter frequency adjust,the final results showing by adjusting frequency of the Induced Draft Fan is the effective energy-saving measure.The Huadian Changji Third Thermal Power Plant were taken as an example,through actual situation analysis for the Induced Draft Fan and it's operating performance,the economical saving effects were compared by different methods through frequency control with other speed mode and High Voltage Inverter technologies,based on the results,the Induced Draft Fan Frequency transformation specific programs were determined,and the Inverter operation procedures and operation precautions details were set up.Through data analysis and comparison of the energy saving cost of the frequency transformation change before and after,we concluded that the use of frequency transformation for Induced Draft Fan can greatly reduce electrical energy consumption to obtain considerable economic benefits.
