The Study On Day/night Observation & Aiming And Distance Measurement By Laser Technology

To meet the requirement of military tactics targets in some weapon system, a new day/night observation and distance measurement by laser device based on day observation,night vision at low light level and distance measurement by laser technology is designed in this text. The day/night observation and distance measurement by laser device is installed in an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). It can perform laser range-finding in IFV at day and night and perform aiming and firing of 100mm standard shell, also the aiming and firing of 30mm AP shell and HE-APERS shell.During the course of design, all the optical passageway is calculated in the optical system, the advanced and mature Gen II image intensifier and Nd:YAG solid lacer are selected. In the course of regulation, some important targets by special optical instruments are examined. Examination results show that the device can meet the requirement of military tactics targets.
