Prestressed plane cable-arch structure is a new kind of prestressed structure form which epitomizes manifold merits such as rationally mechanical characteristics, convenience of construction, form succinctness, lectotype novelty. The main purpose of this paper is to find some efficient methods about reliability analysis and reliability design of prestressed plane cable-arch structure,which make them leave a reasonable margin of strength when taken account of the uncertainty of many design factors.Main contents:1. Structural characteristic,mechanics behavior of plane prestressed cable-arch structure and advance of reliability theory are introduced.2. Studying the probability distribution of basic variable and the methods to obtain the probability distribution of basic variable,the principle that the basic variable is transformed from random process model to random variable model is presented.3. Studying the JC technique and the Monte Carlo technique,the methods that the basic variable does not obey the normal school are presented in this thesis.4. Studying the limit load of plane prestressed cable-arch structure,and testifying that it is reasonable to obain the limit load of plane prestressed cable-arch structure by load-displace curve.5. Applying the responding surface methods,the influence on the degree of reliability of members is discussed.6. Studying the methods of optimization design based on degree of reliability,at last the optimization process linked to a sample is presented.
