At present, the development of Spaceflight is very fast, especially the satellite becomes smaller and smaller. Some micro-satellites work together to accomplish what the single-satellite can not complete. However, how to provide the micro-satellites which distribute on the different areas for a synchronization signal source is a key and difficult problem. This problem is the phase synchronization problem. It will be used in formation-flying airplane, bistatic radar and other fields.Distance- measurement is an ancient question. How to measure the distance more accurately and more quickly is an important question. Using measure the phase to get the distance information can avoid the problem which is to measure the transmission time, so it can improve the measure precision.This thesis concentrates on the phase synchronization and distance-measurement system, analyzes this remote phase synchronization system, studies the function of this system, analyzes the phase noise of this system and the system stability, uses two simulation software which are MATLAB and ADS(Advance Design System) to validate the system and gets the results of the computer simulation, and optimizes the framework of this system, gets the steady phase information; then when the system is locked, some signal has the distance information, and using the Chinese Remainder Theorem (CRT) can resolve the unavoidable wavelength ambiguity, so it can get the distance information.This thesis also designs the hardware circuits of the phase synchronization system, debugs the circuits and gets more results to validate the system, and provides the advice of the next edition.This thesis analyzes the phase synchronization system, especially in designing the PLL(Phase Lock Loop), gets the parameters of the PLL, and improves the phase synchronization system, reduces the phase error of the system, and the lock-time is shorten. This thesis studies how to transform the signal amplitude noise to the signal phase noise, and uses it to validate the system by simulation software.The phase synchronization system has a very huge development, and it can be used in many important field, but because of the time is short, the performance of the system should be improved, especially in PD(Phase Detect), FD(Frequency Detect), PLL, Filter and so on.
