As a new kind of composite material, Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC) has many more superiorities than the normal concrete and the high-strength concrete in its performance. At present, RPC has been paid great attention abroad, while it is only limited to the study of material performance in China. In order to fill the vacancy in the field of structural application, some tentative researches are made in this paper for the structure design coefficients of RPC prestressed beam.The main contents of this paper are included as follows: the confirmation of tensional plastic coefficient, calculation of flexural rigidity and the maximum bearing capacity of RPC prestressed beam. The influencing factors are analyzed by theoretical derivation and programmed calculation. In the end, simplified formulas and methods are proposed to calculate those coefficients. The analyzed results, which are from the tentative research, provide references for the application and design of RPC prestessed beam in the future.
