Recently, an advance composite martial named Carbon Fiber sheets (CFS) has emerged concrete structures can be strengthened by externally bonded CFS to improve their mechanical performances. Many advantages such as lightweight, non-corrosive, simple construction, and high tensile strength make it widely used in strengthening field. In recent years, it has been put into use in the strengthening of reinforced concrete. The CFS -strengthening technique has attracted many researches and engineers today in the world.In order to the behaviors of RC beams strengthened with CFS design and complete the experimental researches on the flexural behaviors of RC beams strengthened with CFS. Based on the experiment results analyzed the behaviors of RC beams the ultimate flexural strength, the stiffness, the ductility, the cracking state and the failure modes, and the influence of the number piles CFS, the initial loading level , anchorage U-hoop of CFS on the flexural strength of RC beams. With the analyzed results , calculating formula for flexural load-bearing capacity ,short-period rigidity and ductility of RC beams strengthened with CFS are suggested. The calculating results agree with the experiment results well The formula may be applied in Project.
