The cargo loading is an important part of logistics distribution, so the plan of cargo loading has significant influence on the efficiency of the entire logistics distribution system and the reduction of transportation cost. The loading optimization problem already received the attention of logistics industry and academic world day by day. However, the present researches concentrate mostly on the spatial layout of regularly rectangular cargoes, and very few people conducte the research to the layout of irregularly non-rectangular cargoes. Speaking of the logistics distribution, the shapes of cargoes are infinitely varied, and there are many irregularly non-rectangular cargoes, but the existing loading optimization research results are very difficult to be applied in these irregular cargoes loading. Therefore, finding a reasonable method to layout irregularly non-rectangular cargoes is very significant for raising the loading factor.This article mainly researches the loading optimization problem of irregularly non-rectangular cargoes in the logistics distribution, and uses two-step strategies to propose a reasonable layout and a loading plan aiming to enhance the loading rate of the loading vessels. Firstly, based on analyzing domestic and foreign optimization achievements of the regularly rectangular loading problem, this article uses heuristic algorithms to propose several methods by which the irregularly non-rectangular cargoes can be combined into approximately rectangular cargoes, including various methods of single-shape cargoes loading and multi-shape cargoes loading. Secondly, this article discusses the advantages, disadvantages, and applied background of each kind of combination methods. Fanally, this article improves genetic algorithm to solve the layout optimization problem of regular rectangular cargoes.Besed on the theory research, this article carries on the analysis and the design to the multi-shape cargoes loading optimization system, and realizes the computation and the three dimensional demonstration. Using this software, massive simulation experiments to the boxes of tobacco which is packed with pyrocondensation membrane are carried on, and the simulation results are compared and analyzed. The simulation results indicate that using the loading optimization plan concluded from this program can make a higher loading rate, namely the algorithms proposed in this article can effectively enhance the loading rate of irregularly non-rectangular cargoes. Using this program, not only may obtain the highly effective loading plan, but may obtain the three dimensional image of loading plan. The simulation results prove that this simulation program has the usability and intelligence, and can be operated easily.This article carries on the exploration and the research in the new domain of the irregularly non-rectangular cargoes loading optimization, and the research results provide the theory basis and the technical realization methods to the actual loading operation, so this subject has strong guiding sense, and provides a new way for the further research in this domain.
