The Research On The Issue Of Xi'an Cao Tang Temple Development Planning

With the improvement of the general national strength of our China, tourism develops very fast. As one of the important constituents of our country's culture and tourism, religion tourism also develops rapidly and has a broad developing prospect. In the background of the research, nowadays research on the development planning of the temples in suburban districts in ShanXi is inadequate, which induces that those temples generally have the problem of temple planning construction, protection coordination and tourism development. Considering the problems mentioned above, this paper takes Xi'an Cao Tang temple as an example, analyses deeply and provides favorable suggestions on the developing mode of the temples in the suburban districts, study on the development planning of Buddhism temples can not only solve the protective construction problem of temples, but also can drive the tourism development of temples. Cao Tang temple is a Patriarchal Court of Sanlunzong School, which is 29km far from Xi'an. The temples in the suburban districts are far from the city, whose function division are agile and temple tourism product are abundant.This paper proceeds analytical study on the development planning of Cao Tang temple in three principal aspects:â‘ on the religion and society aspect, according to the characteristics of religion culture and combined with the advanced development experience both in our country and foreign countries, this paper puts forward suggestions on the protection and development of temple religion culture and fully performing the temple's social function in the new time;â‘¡on the planning construction aspect, according to the existing problems, this paper draws lessons from advanced planning construction experience, refers to traditional layout and palace allocation mode of Buddhism temples passed from Han, properly proceeds function division, general arrangement and construction of landscape and foundational facilities, and proceeds analytical study on protection system; â‘¢on tourism development aspect, this paper generalizes advanced experience both in our country and foreign countries. Based on the analysis of tourism characteristics of Cao Tang temple, this paper pays emphasis on the study against temple tourism product and accomplishes the design of traveling line, at the same time, forecasts the tourism capability and analyses benefit. The author gave out proposals accordingly, which are suitable for the sustainable development of Cao Tang temple. â‘ The building-up and managing of monk-teams;â‘¡Temple's arrangement and construction;â‘¢Make much account of development of religion trouism. This paper also concludes the development planning protective system of Cao Tang temple and at last arrives at the conclusion, which can be a guid for the carrying out of the plans and the temple developing.
