The turbine-generator is important equipment in the thermal power plant, and its safe running performance is always concerned by manufacturer and designer. The dynamic perfonnance of foundation which is supporting structure for T-G influences vibration of the entire unit, and it is an important factor of the unit safe running. In recent years, many researches on dynamic performance of T-G foundation have been completed, some test data and successful design experiences accumulated, and further understanding about dynamic characters of foundation achieved. However, the differences of manufacture and design standard among T-G unit factories lead to the distinguishes of T-G foundation, for example, the discrepancies in styles of foundation structures, section size of beam or column and so on, these factors give birth to distinctions of foundation dynamic performance.In this dissertation, the 1/8 scale model vibration experimental on foreign 300MW T-G unit frame foundation in one thermal power plant has been carried out. The natural vibration frequencies, mode shapes and linear vibration displacements of prototype structure are acquired according to similarity relationships through model vibration experiment. There are some cases in the model vibration test, the unit equipment mass exists, doesn't exist and the stiffness test of exciting force joints, the dynamic character test of foundation with steam condenser mass. Analyze the test results, the natural vibration frequencies of structure reduced by the action of unit equipment mass, and steam condenser mass has tiny effect on structural dynamic character.The author builds analysis model of simulation axis and pure structure utilizing TGFP, SAP2000 and ANSYS software to analysis structural modal and steady state. The natural vibration frequencies, mode shapes and linear vibration displacements are acquired. The stiffness will be increased by axis simulating, the corresponding natural vibration frequencies augmented. The calculating curves of exciting joints displacement-frequency are similar with test curves. Finally, some reasonable suggestions for optimizing design and analysis of foundation have been given.
