Conservation Study And Practice Of Qi Xian Village

Qixian village is an typical local residential demonstration of republic of Xi'an built in 1936. Qixian village is well kept and it serves as the typical represent of morden neighborhood and transitional civilian residential housing, the National Important Protected Monument -Represent Office of Eight Route Army in Xi'an, is just one of the remains.This dissertation gives an systematic analysis of Qixian village in terms of its history, original outlook, preservative situation and surrounding resources according to historical references, research materials and the practical investigation. On the other hand, the article gives a systematic study regarding the conservation of Qixian neighborhood, the protection aims, principles and methods of the Represent Office of Eight Route Army in Xi'an, which will not only add great value to Qixian neighborhood, but also makes the office itself possible to extent its value. Meanwhile, the extension project of memorial hall of Represent Office of Eight Route Army in Xi'an has finalized the protection plan of Qixian neighborhood and Represent Office of Eight Route Army in Xi'an.The article puts forward a concept of an establishment of Xi'an modern historical neighborhoods around Qixian village in order to enable them to tell the modern history of Xi'an and to add Xi'an city memory.
