Cement concrete adhesiveness and water retention effectiveness have been improvement of different level after incorporating ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS). Mixing GGBS into concrete to possess water reducing effect, along with the increase of replacement cement with GGBS in concrete, flowability is assumed increasing trend when water requirement of concrete is fixedness. This trend along with water-gel ratio is more notable.GGBS can greatly improve strength of concrete by mixing in concrete. The boosting effect to concrete strength performance relates to fineness, amount of GGBS and water-cement ratio etc factors. By way of the analysis fairly, the optimum production fineness of Tai Gang slag powder is between 450-550m~2/kg, permissible limit of the slag under the fineness described as such: In C30 concrete capacity substituting for cement of the powder can be up to 40% during 442m~2/kg; The fineness is for reaching 60% during 485m~2/kg, and the fineness reaches 70% for about 559m~2/kg. In C50 concrete the substitute powder can be up to 30% at the minute powder fineness of slag 442-485m~2/kg, and the replacement amount reaches 40% for 559m~2/kg. The slag powder capacity replacing cement of same fineness is more big, but concrete late strength rate of increase is also bigger. But the late strength rate of increase had trend that reduces in increase following fineness.Hydration heat in concrete can reduce, and postpones the time that the hot peak value of hydration has appeared by replacing for cement of the slag powder. It is worse resistance to carbonate attack to incorporate with GGBS, and the slag powder mixing amount is bigger, and the resisted carbonize ability is wrong more. Mixing the slag powder concrete to shrinkage the value smaller than Portland cement concrete, and along with the slag powder mixes the increase into capacity, the concrete shrinkage that the value reduces, and early stage shrinkage capacity is bigger than his at the shrinkage capacity of later period. Mixing the slag powder concrete resistance to alternate freezing and thawing is worse than Portland cement concrete, after alternating freezing and thawing concrete strength reduces more along with the slag fineness debasement. Change when mixing capacity is bigger is failed to understand being apparent. Resistance to permeability can raise by replacement Portland cement of the slag powder in concrete.
