The steel structure has been applied in the building extensively because of its advantages, but it is a deadly weakness that the fire-resistant performance of the steel structure is bad, under the high temperature, basic mechanics performance indexes, such as intensity of the steel, elastic mould amount, etc. drop suddenly, once fire takes place, steel structure may be destructed seriously, even collapse on the whole too earlier.Traditional anti-fire designing method of steel structure based on test data is very difficult to response the real situation. And the fireproofing protective method of the steel structure on the basis of performance can simulate many kinds of fire forms, which accords with situations of the steel structure in the real fire. This paper gives a kind of analysis method of fire safety, which is suitable for the large space building. Through analysis and simulation of the fire scene at first, this method gives the temperature of components, and then utilizes the software of wire frame design and analysis to calculate the stress of components under different temperatures, judges whether components loses efficiency. Examples in this paper shows where fireproofing protection need to be enhanced in the high temperature section, and receded or not in the low temperature section, so we may decrease unnecessary waste or prevent the local section protection from the request. The discussed protective method in this paper can give reference for space structures above.
