Steel as a new material of modern architecture, has wide application and development prospect of steel structure in high-rise buildings and large span space steel structure, light steel structure of the modern building engineering. Though steel is non burning, but not refractory steel. The strength of steel at 400 degrees under normal temperature is only about half, while the temperature rose to 600 degrees, the basic loss of strength and stiffness of steel. This paper introduces the steel structure fire risk, and the characteristics, the steel structure fireproof performance, points out the importance of fire protection of steel structure and the existing several steel structure fire protection method, and emphatically introduces the fire retardant coatings for steel structure fire protection, fire safety design objectives and some of the fire protection design method is proposed. This paper introduces several steel structure fire cases, the reasons are analyzed, the refractory burning time. The steel structure will be a sharp decline in the elastic modulus under fire, resulting in a decline in the carrying capacity of the structure,steel structure fire not only rely on the fire retardant coating, fireproof structure design itself is also very important. In this paper, the stress yield strength and the stress change of steel at high temperature are discussed, and the overall and partial design methods are also discussed. In this paper, the gap between domestic fire protection materials and foreign countries is introduced, and some measures are made.In this paper, a total of six chapters, are characteristics of the building fire, the mechanical properties of steel material in fire change, how to use the fire resistance design method, and effective means to solve the problem, and the establishment of the two spans and two layer model with ANSYS finite element simulation software simulation analysis of steel structure in fire combustion characteristics. Its characteristics are mainly divided into the following points:(1) the stress- strain, elastic modulus and displacement of the steel frame at different temperatures.(2) to observe the structure of the first damaged parts, these are the future focus on the design of fire resistance.(3) simulation and analysis of the data obtained from the experimental results in the future, to provide help for the future design of fire.Rapid warming under fire is a very dangerous due to currently school of instrument is still not perfect, and the ANSYS software is used to replace the experiment simulation study was carried out on a pin frame, and carries on the analysis on the combustion characteristics. Under the influence of the three kinds of heat transfer mode, the stress- strain condition and displacement deformation of the frame under different temperature are analyzed by considering the nonlinear variation of the material. According to the data analysis, some personal opinions are summarized.
