With the rapid development of the building industry, the waste of building have been growing day by day, and most of them are waste concrete. Besides the charge for an abundance of waste disposal is very much, it also is harm to the environment and society. The technology of using recycled aggregate to confect recycled concrete not only may resolve the pollution of the environment by the waste concrete, but also relieves the contradiction of supply and demand for aggregate. Because of the limit to technology and economy, now little systematic research on it. The paper mainly studies on the workability and mechanical properties of recycled aggregate high strength concrete and looks for the ways how recycled coarse aggregate high strength concrete uses in the fact.The paper generally examines the physical properties of the recycled coarse aggregate, compares them with that of the natural coarse aggregate. And the reasons causing differences between the two kinds of aggregate. All experiments take orthogonal experiment design and each concrete mixture ratio considers five influences factors, including water cement, fly ash, silicon ash, FDN and the recycled coarse aggregate. And analyses that the five factors have an effect on the workability and mechanical properties of recycled coarse aggregate high strength concrete.The paper investigates the old cement mortar's activity in recycled concrete, the surface structure of recycled concrete, the interfacial zone between coarse aggregate and cement paste (IZAP) and the action mechanism of super-fine mineral mixture and provides the theoretical basis for further research.The result of this paper shows that adopting the technology of mixing with super-fine mineral mixture and high effective water reducer and the technology of pre-vetting the recycled aggregate can make the recycled concrete of high strength.
