Composite space truss is a kind of spatial structure, which upper layer is made of concrete plate and the lower structure being consisted of steel truss. This kind of structure can fully display the advantageous conditions of steel's resistance to tensile force and concrete's resistance to compression, also can make the structure's load-bearing and surrounding functions come into integrity. It is a kind of structural style with promising development future.This article unifies the new composite space truss used by Nantong Stadium big spatial composite floor. Mainly through the 1/9 overall model experiment against the original structure, it tests its deformation performance and the together working condition of steel truss and concrete, then validates the reliability of the computational method; and calculates the degree of security of actual project with the theoretical analysis; in the end, puts forwards three kinds of structural forms about the typical complex joints of the composite floor and makes the finite elements analysis about the joints .The research of this article mainly manifests in the following aspects:1. This article has conducted the experimental research on the overall model of composite floor. Through the experiment, we have had comprehensive understanding about the deformation and force-bearing of rods, joints, concrete plate and the entire structure. It further verifies the characteristics of composite structure being of great rigidity and high weight-bearing force. Meanwhile, it calculates the corresponding degree of security of actual project by means of the intensity and rigidity indexes of the actual model structure with the theoretical analysis results.2. This article makes the systematical finite elements analysis about the composite structure . And by the comparison between the model experimental result and the calculating analysis result, it has proven their uniformity. At the meantime, after making the corresponding finite elements analysis about the big spatial floor of new composite space truss employed by this project, we have more thorough understanding about its force-bearing deformation mechanism, which has carried on the earlier period preparatory work for the spread application of this structure.3. It detailedly analysis the influence which concrete plate exerts on the entire structure's force-bearing and deformation performance in the model structure, which proves that the presence of concrete plate can greatly reinforce the intensity and rigidity of the structure.4. This article puts forwards three kinds of structural forms about the typical complex joints of the big spatial composite floor and makes finite elements analysis and comparison of the joints. It provides the reference to the actual joints design of this project and the similar projects.
