Asphalt paving material exhibit nonlinear property. Creep property is on of the important factors leading to paving breakage on high temperature conditions. Rut and folding is formed with the accumulation of deformation producing by lateral flow of asphalt mixture under cyclic loading. The actual operation of vehicles has great momentum effects on the pavement. In this paper, the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation and other methods are used to analyze the stress and the deformation of the pavement under the dynamic loading.First, the structural characteristics of asphalt mixture and the cause of rut and folding on pavement, including process and influencing factors, are detailed introduced in this paper. Analysis of the characteristics about asphalt mixture permanent deformation is also in this paper. Burgers model is used to analyze the viscoelastic material.Secondly, take the semi-rigid pavement structure as the study object, considering the rheological characteristics of asphalt lay and using numerical simulation, finite elements software was employed to developing a 3-D calculating model of the pavement structure under horizontal and vertical loading. Through numerical simulation discuss and analyze the force bearing properties and the connection with time history of asphalt pavement under the steady-velocity loading. Compare with the impacts of different viscoelastic rates for the formation processing of rutting and obtain the time history disciplinarian with different viscoelastic parameter of the surface transmutation of asphalt paving lay.Thirdly, contraposing the different structure parameters, calculate and analyze the response of pavement transmutation under moving loading, and analyze the formative effect of rut with different structural parameters under cyclic loading.Finally, analyzing the formative reasons of folding, consider the rheological characteristics of asphalt and establish a braking loading model. Calculate and simulate the change of stress and deformation as speed changing. Analyze the effects of stress and deformation with variation of structure parameters of the model, and simulate the formative process of folding under the cyclic loading.
