It is very necessary to develop and use isolation power system in the suburban areas being far from power net. Wind/solar hybrid power system is a good system in the aspect of economy and reliability, this point had been proved by practise. Thus it is very essential to study wind/solar hybrid power system. For this reason, analyze solar and wind energy character, further study wind/solar hybrid power system in this article.Analyze character and theory of component in wind/solar hybrid system. Set up calculating model of tilted surface radiation, electrical quantity form pv module and wind turbine; put forward model of deciding battery capacity .Because it is difficult that meteorological observatory is close to the spot, measure resource data is not economical for off-grid power system. So this article put forward the idea that is resource data from National Areonautics and Space Administration in the united states (NASA), and analyze two cases in the inner Mongolia, compare computing result with survey result, average per cent less than 5%.At last, we compare computing methods about PV power and power decision.Suggestion: study reasonable disposal of component in wind/solar hybrid system, set up practical optimized model.
