Tensegrity system is a new type of the space reticulated structure. At present , it is still at the stage of study and exploration in the world. In this thesis, the design and calculation theory of the cable dome, a type of the tensegrity system,is used for designing programme. Taking AutoCAD as secondary develop platform, developed the design and calculation methods of preprocessing programme and post-processing programme. This is the purpose of the thesis.It is a gradual process of having a good knowledge that author of the thesis had consulted plenty of domestic and oversees literary records and data experiences and carefully researched the forerunners'works. Author draws a lot of beneficial way of thinking and theory knowledge,and find some problems that forefathers exist of the research work at the same time.Firstly, the history of the cable dome structure, its definition, its latest progress and examples about it had sum up in the paper. Secondly, based on the predecessor's study, some optimization and extension for the function of the preprocessing module of the cable dome optimal design's system software are done, and simplified the complex method of the bar coding, and disabused some wrong bar coding, exploited the post-processing module including constructional pictures. The preprocessing design provides all data information including geometry, constraints and load information on the tensegrity cable dome structures which automatically formed by procedure. The above information is need for the optimization design program. Post-processing program realizes datagraghic output and researching information about bar after structure optimization design. Adopted a simple way transmitting the preprocessing and post-processing module's data to the optimization design module of internal power by the research of programme system's each module. After the statement of preprocessing and post-processing module, had comtinued with explicating the operational method of the programme by real instance. Finally, had summed up the said research product and pointed out the work which should be proceeded with researching.It was more convenient and efficiency than adopted Autolisp only that Autolisp programme had been developed under the VisualLISP integrated surroundings in the paper. On the one hand, it can get applied programme that is more efficiency, its code is more compact, and original code can be protected. On the other hand, it is good and easy for the debug of the programme.In short, the research theory, analysis method and calculating program in the thesis can provide theoretical and practical basis for development preprocessing and post-processing module of space structure design and perfection the modular programming system on the tensegrity cable domes and realization data transformation, data transmission and result datagraphic output in the follow aspects, preprocessing, post-processing and application program.
