Rotary kiln is widely used in the industry of metallurgy, chemical, cement and architecture. The chamotte rotary kiln system is the vital sinter equipment in the departments of metallurgy and cement industry. Its investment accounts for total investment according to the statistics 10%-16%. Its construction, the overhaul quality and the stable movement are very great influence to this enterprise's economic efficiency and the production cost influence. In the long-term production process of kiln, sometimes the lining brick of kiln body falls off and induces "the red kiln" accident, the kiln tube has produced the permanent radial direction distortion. The coherence of the lining brick which are built after the distortion is bad. It's easy to fall off once more and induce "the red kiln" the accident again, therefore the rotary kiln use factory earnestly hope that they can measure the tube body and the turn belt contour beats in carries, in order to take the corresponding repair measure and enhance the running rate of the rotary kiln and the overhaul quality specification.This article studies and analyzes the reason of the kiln body as well as the survey method of rotary kiln tube body distortion in the domestic and foreign country. Contrasting to the process analysis, it proposes the measuring technique of the new tube body distorted as well as the recent data processing method, and make the detailed elaboration.It proposes design proposal of measurement system which based on the laser position transmitter DLS-B15 through the study of each kind of rotary kiln tube body. DLS-B15 is one kind of measurement sensor applying in the high performance comprehensive distance in the industry, it can carry on the non-contact precision measuring to the great distance. We can get the datas of some sections by measuring the body of the Rotary kiln.Then ,we can gain the 3D drawing by collecting all the sections. This system includes structural design, software design as well as the programming design based on LabVIEW man-machine contact surface.We deeply research and analyse the virtual instrument technology, did a lot of work in data collection. And designed each module of the application based on LabVIEW platform, generally including communication of the SCM and the computer based on LabVIEW. data processing, data input and output etc. We design...
