Automobile wheels are the important safety parts of cars .The wheels endure not only vertical load ,but also other irregular load which are caused by driving ,braking ,turning and ground striking .As a high speed rotating parts ,their quality are very important to the cars'stability ,comfortability and other performance .The article narrate the development and situation of car parts in the world. The main work of the article are apply composite materials to auto wheel and analyze its stress ,strain and optimize its parameters .The purpose is to decrease the weight of auto wheels , fuel consuming ,the let of auto and increase the life of auto wheels .The article create auto wheel by the drawing .Analyze aluminum and composite materials auto wheel's intensity according to wheel rotate and bend fatigue test by ANSYS software ,and obtain the results of stress ,strain and displacement .Compare the results of aluminum and composite materials ,we could see out that the weight of composite materials is decreased by forty point seventy four percent .From the result of finite element analysis we could see out that the compo- site materials auto wheels could be optimized greatly . So ,I optimized the thickness of wheel rim ,wheel nave and the contour of auto wheel to decrease the weight of auto wheel .Analyze the wheel that have already been optimized by wheel rotate and bend fatigue test .Its strain, stress and displacement are similar with the result that before optimize , but its weight is decreased by more than ten percent.The work of the article :First ,decrease the weight of auto wheel greatly ;Secondly, offer some experience for further research the structural fatigue of auto wheel and the structural of auto wheel .Except these ,it could also make the designer know the strain and stress of the wheel before it is manufactured .It will decrease the cycle of research ,improve the efficiency of design and reduce the cost on product develop .
