City water-distribution network system is a complicated large and random network system whose performing control focuses not only on one object. The computation result of the water-distribution network's flux is one of the most vital references to its optimized design and the present analyses. Due to the lack of the traditional algorithms to tackle with the complex water-distribution network, the user's needs can't be gratified by the result of the flux computation, which greatly restricts the application of the complex water-distribution network's flux computation.This thesis analyzes the features of the present algorithms based on the study of the complex water-distribution network's flux computation-theory from both inland and outland; introduces the use of the genetic algorithm to the water-distribution network's flux computation. In view of the incapacity of the standard genetic algorithm to the binding conditions, the standard genetic algorithm needs to be ameliorated. These binding conditions are satisfied by the individuals among the groups , which is ensured by the adoption of "probability greedy algorithm", the operation of "integral overlap" and "integral variation". Finally, the mathematic model of the water-distribution network's flux computation is set up by using the improved genetic algorithm. and the realizing details at each step are presented either. During the performance of the realization of this system, not only the genetic algorithm on the flux is realized, but also the traditional Hardy-Cross algorithm. Then the conclusion is drawn that the genetic algorithm is a practicable one to the complex water-distribution network's flux computation after the comparison between the genetic algorithm and the traditional Hardy-Cross algorithm is made by examples, which set a solid foundation for the further application of the genetic algorithm in field of the complex water-distribution network's flux computation. This subject uses the Oracle and Delphi as its tools and the object-orient program thought is perceived invariably in the whole process. Taking the complicated water-distribution network's flux computation as the main clue and on the grounds of the thought of the buildup of the information control system, the development of the water-distribution network system is accomplished and the whole system including the flux computation and the varied network information control is realized, which provides the systematic support to the scientific control of the water-distribution network.
