| As one of the technologies in which structures are passively controlled, base isolation technology has been used widely and written in the national standard. The parallel base isolation technology not only effectively reduces the cost of ordinary isolation structure but also plays an obvious role in the base isolation.But there still are many problems as follows: firstly, the research to factors of parallel base isolation structure is not enough; secondly, the research to residual displacements is insufficient; thirdly, the influence of ground foundation to parallel base isolation structure is not clear.As to above questions, first of all, present status of research to parallel base isolation and the interaction between the superstructure and ground foundation are summarized. And the work of the paper is proposed. Then the method for parallel base isolation using finite element technique is obtained and the calculation for a ten-frames shearing-force-wall structure using parallel base isolation technology is carried out and some conclusions are gained which are useful for the design of parallel base isolation structures. The main work is as follows:(1)The factors of parallel base isolation are summarized, and the affects of the base isolation periodic, the max friction force of bearings and damping are discussed.(2)The formula for horizontal residual displacement is extracted and the affects of the base isolation periodic, the max friction force of bearings and the differential earthquake waves are studied. Some methods to control the residual displacement are proposed.(3)The earthquake reaction of parallel base isolation structures is studied. And the affects of piles and soil to the max displacement and max acceleration of top layer and the horizontal shear of base isolation layer are discussed. |
