Ship lift belong to large-scale and stress complex space thin-wall construction, precise analysis to its stress is the key factor of ship lift safe movement. At present, few research in the ship lift aspect in domestic and foreign. Belgium and Germany have complete and are using the large-scale ship lift, the successful experience can help us. Our country still did not have the ship lift design standard, we have to refer to related standards and criterions.Now, the computational method of ship lift structure mainly have the plane system thin-wall construction computational method, space frame construction finite element method and plate-beam composite structure finite element method.American ALGOR Corporation's Super SAP general structure analysis software is widespread, belongs to plate-beam composite structure finite element method. This article receives the jinghong hydraulic ship lift chamber as the project example, uses the finite element computational procedure which developed by Hohai University Prof.Li Tongchun. This article calculate the deadweight, the overload, the sunken ship, breaks the rope and several kind of operating modes. Analyse the computational result of several kind of operating modes.This paper elaborated the concrete difference of several computational methods,Compare and Analyse the result of different metnods. Elaborated the influence of ship lift chamber rope's position and the oriented orbit'position, bring forward some advice for ship lift chamber's design.This paper introduced the mechanism in ship lift chamber, clearly explaind the load and restrict condition. Hydraulic float ship lift is a new-style ship lift,Jinghong Hydrelectric power station hydraulic float ship lift as the first example in the world, have no experience, have no whole design and calculate theory at many questions. This article combined Jinghong Hydrelectric power station hydraulic float ship lift chamber deflection and stress calculation. After the calculate and analyse, offer the gist for Jinghong Hydrelectric power station hydraulic float ship lift's design, and offer logical advice.
