In this dissertation, a inverter using DSP is proposed, which is based on Vector Control Strategy(VCS),and combined with SVPWM modulation algorithm. It is very powerful using the proposed inverter for boosting the DC voltage utilizing coefficient, thus it enhances performance of the inverter.It analyses the PWM Voltage Source Inverter, particularly emphasizing the math-model, the control strategy and several simulation based on vector control system. Simulation is completed for the purpose of proving the control strategy proposed in this dissertation. Then, the design of the circuits and experiment has been done to validate the correctness of the whole system. The designed system uses TMS320F240 of TI Corp. as the main controller, which has some function such as calculation, A/D conversion and the DSP encoder pulse counting. Besides the DSP board, there is a power-board, which not only completes the power conversion from DC to AC and it is controlled by PWM signal from DSP, but also there are OPTS between the pins of IGBT and the PWM signals. Besides these above, there are over-current, over-voltage and other protection circuits.After many times of Lab experiments and correction, the proposed system shows excellent performances, which prove the correctness of the control strategy.
