In the system of supporting and tracking of the feed for Large Radio Telescope (LT) the real-time cabin tracking and dynamic measuring are key techniques. The main purpose of the research is to apply suitable measuring programming and techniques for the control system under the condition of ensuring the precision and sampling rate, and offer the control system cabin's positions to adjust the lengths of the cables coordinately to control the movement of the cabin. Studies of the measuring system are discussed here. All these can be summarized as follows:According to the conditions of the special system's requirements, combining the conceptual design of control and measuring system, the programming of LT5m model is established by using laser total station instruments; The measuring principles and characteristics are studied, the measuring system of LT5m is calibrated and the coordinates of control, measure and the feed cabin are unified, also and the software of measuring system is worked.The feed cabin's mechanical model and its movement characteristics are studied. And the experiments show the advanced cabin's tracking model and its relevant filtering algorithm are validatedUsing the integrated measuring system, the experiments of open-close loop are worked. As a solid basis for the motion control of the system, these experiments can help to modify the system model.
