| From the 90's, the urbanization is a tendency along the development of the society. And more and more people focus on utilizing and constructing underground space in urban environment where land is scarce. Buildings or other facilities become closely to each other. Most of excavations are carried out close to the existing buildings. The excavation induced the soil movements maybe detrimental to the nearby piles. Furthermore, soil movements acting on pile may damage the existing buildings. At the same time, the nearby piles also have good influence to the excavations. It can bear a part of the lateral soil pressure. And then, it can decrease the displacement and moment of the retaining wall. So, if we can use the nearby pile to bear the partial lateral soil pressure insuring the security of nearby pile foundation, it can decrease the cost of the engineering. In this instance, I study on the interaction between the excavations and the nearby piles, and some aspects included as follows:(1) Based on displacement method: (I) studying the soil movement distribution in excavation without piles; (II) analyzing the pile response with soil movement boundary conditions;(2) Using the finite element method to analyze the interaction between the excavation and the nearby pile. Specially, analyzing the favorable influence caused by pile to the excavation. Making up for the defect that the displacement method only analyzing the influence to nearby pile caused by excavation.(3) Verifying the two methods in a project example. Making comparison and analyzing between computing results and measure results. Summarizing the results and bringing up the supposed designing method, pointing further study directions. |
