| In this thesis, based on ObjectARX platform in AutoCAD and Visual C++6.0 programming tool, glass curtain wall design is accomplished in AutoCAD 2002 . In this paper, the total design idea of glass curtain wall is presented. Convenient modeling of frame supported glass curtain wall is realized in AutoCAD, the computation formulas of compound section are deduced, joint forms in common use and base design formulas are summed up and applied in the post—process design system of frame supported glass curtain wall, the full glass curtain wall design is also completed. In addition, the nonlinear effects of glass panels with different boundary supports are investigated by finite element analysis. Finally, according to the code of glass curtain wall, the computation of glass panels in the software is realized.
