With the development of economy, people's income has been increasing, and people's demands on the quality of life have been improved accordingly. Architectural glass curtain wall as a kind of architectural aesthetics, architectural function and architectural structure and architectural form of various factors of the organic combination, with beautiful appearance, light weight, good lighting and high degree of standardization, industrialization, to meet the people had a positive effect on the building appearance, rain, wind, lighting, heat insulation, thermal insulation and sound insulation the demand to. In the past thirty years, building glass curtain wall in China has been rapid development, but with the outbreak of the world's energy problem, the high energy consumption of ordinary building glass curtain wall in the optimization of building function has aroused people's attention. How to make the building glass curtain wall in the construction of the functional requirements of the building and maintaining the environmental protection and energy conservation has become the research hotspot in the world.This paper first through the review of domestic and foreign literature, the composition of glass curtain wall, glass curtain wall classification and structure and glass curtain wall of the sun system for a detailed understanding, analysis of the composition and structure of the glass curtain wall energy saving effect. The energy saving of the panel material is the main factor to affect the energy saving of glass curtain wall, and the parameters of the energy saving of the panel material are analyzed, and the important parameters of the energy saving are summarized. It helps to guide the construction of the glass curtain wall in accordance with the factors such as the amount of investment, construction environment, the functional requirements of buildings and other factors.Taking Shenzhen area as an example, combined with the climate characteristics of Shenzhen area, this paper summarizes the application status of glass curtain wall in Shenzhen city through the investigation of 21 glass curtain wall construction in Shenzhen. By analyzing the factors of climate characteristics, characteristics of various types of glass curtain wall structure as well as the influence of the energy efficiency analysis, puts forward some suggestions for improvement of glass curtain wall buildings in hot summer and warm winter area can take energy conservation in the future and in the area of glass curtain wall construction.Through studying the structure and operating principle of the double glazing curtain wall, the application characteristics and application range of double glazing curtain wall are summarized. According to the statistical results of the design parameters of the double glazing curtain wall in China and abroad, the improvement way and how to design the double glazing curtain wall is put forward according to the practical situation. And through the in-depth study on the typical case, analyzes the existing problems in the application of optimized design, provides a theoretical basis for the improvement of double glass curtain wall in hot summer and warm winter area.
