In the design of breakwaters, seawalls, revetments and other constructions to protect overtopping, slope profile dikes are always used. In order to reduce the capacity of sand and stone without influencing overtopping, crown wall is usually set on the dike. How to design wave screen to ensure the stabilization and satisfy the permissive overtopping is an important problem.There are many researches relevant to this, but because of the complexity of the subject, physical model experiments are usually focused on vertical wall. When the head-on profile of wave screen is arc, wave that is nearly breaking or broken hits on the arc structure especially violently. The mechanism is more complex.
