With the popularize of computer recently, computer is no longer a unfamiliar and expensive equipment. It is necessary in many industries. It is more important in the aspect of power industry than some others. We can't work without computer in relaying protection, fault recorder, monitoring system. Let's focus on the development of relaying protection now. Form relaying protection using relay, relaying protection using Chip Microcomputer to relaying protection using microcomputer based on web, there is a usage of computer. It becomes wider and wider, deeper and deeper. On the other hand there are many characteristics in the Ethernet which bases on TCP/IP have many advantages such as high-speed communication, low-level Bit Error Rate (BER),less cost, usage of Ethernet becomes wider and wider.How can we connect single computer with others, how can we make a centralized management and control? We depend on Substation Automatic System based on Ethernet. The goal of the paper is to build a model of 110kV Substation Automatic System using the software, Kingview. Taking advantage of the input date and the output data, we realize the"Four Remotes"function of monitor software system, including remote regulation, remote sensing signal, remote metering, remote control. We further realize the advanced application functions furthermore, including real-time table, sequence of events, record of fault, drawing and displaying, real-time date collection and processing, database management and so on.Moreover we will bring out a solution to the shortage of other companies systems. 1) Signal merging and signal classifying. 2) Draw out a judgment of normal and abnormal, and display in the main bus picture. 3) Display the statement of the devices, such as running or checking and...
