The Embedded Monitored Control Systems in the Intelligent Switching Telecom Powers of DUM family are the core products of Beijing Dynamic Power Co., Ltd. Since the technical performance differences among the systems together with the hardware and software design method differences among the engineers, the disadvantages in the former systems are the lack of considerations in modularization and standardization design as well as the difficulties in system management, maintenance and enhancement. Therefore, the costs of power products are raised. To solve the above problems, this paper puts forward a hardware and software platform solution based on unified design method which is applied the Rectifier Module Controllers of the Embedded Monitored Control Systems in Telecom Powers of DUM family.The hardware platform design method of the Rectifier Module Controller is that: Firstly, the ATmega16L MCU is selected as the CPU, which has high-speed and multi-function performance. Then, the hardware configuration in system level is established, which the Main Control Unit connects and communicates with the Communication Unit, Detection Unit and Control Unit. Finally, each unit is designed separately. Compared with the former products, this hardware platform has the advantages of improving the system integration level and electromagnetic compatibility, and being easy to be managed and maintained.The software platform design method of the rectifier module controller is that: Firstly, the Embedded Real-time Operation SystemμC/OS-II is ported into ATmega16L and configured in terms of the applications. Then, the modular software design platform is established, which implements the normalization software design. Finally, the user task programs and the interrupt service routines are designed. At the same time, the detection and control function with compatibility are implemented according to different types of Rectifier Module.
