The techniques of base-isolation and building integral shift(BIS) have widely projected background, and are matter of great theoretic meaning and academic value. In recent years, the development on these terms gains quickly in the engineering practice and theoretic research. But because of the great difference between parameters of base-isolation story and super structure, numerical morbidity arises easily and the research on numerical calculation becomes necessary. In addition, the project which introduces the isolation technique into the BIS technique is few, and the theoretic research on feasibility of aseismatic consolidating by shift equipments becomes popular problem for the domestic and foreign scholars. The main concerned contents of the dissertation may be summarized as follows:1. The evolution process of earthquake resistant technique is systematically reviewed in this dissertation. This dissertation also presents the basis of the principles, categories, the composition characteristics and the engineering application of the base-isolation technology with the present research situation, and discussed the problems and the important fields to be resolved in the base-isolation technique.2. The numerical solutions of the equation of structural dynamics is introduced, which include the central difference method, the linear acceleration method, the wilson-θ method, the Newmark-β method, the Houblot method and the precise integration method(PIM). It shows the advantages and disadvantages of various methods with comparisons. The results of numerical examples show that the efficiency and the precision of PIM all are very high in comparing with other methods. For long step and long time simulation, the PIM is stable, which is not available for other methods.3. The time-history of seismic response of building always is a complex and large-scale problem. Because of the great difference between parameters of base -isolation story and super structure, numerical morbidity arises easily. In this dissertation, the traditional difference method is abandoned. Using the increment -dimensional and diminishment-order method, second-order differential dynamical equations convert into first-order. A numerical algorithm of the PIM based on Newton-cotes formula calculates the time-history of seismic response of the base-isolation structure. The new method avoids the inverse matrix calculations and...
