The mathematic simulation research on multi-mode torpedo guidance system is an efficient method to know its performance, theory and method, to improve the tactical guideline of guidance technique.Torpedo guidance technology involves Signal & Information Processing, Underwater Acoustic Engineering, Weapon System and Application Engineering, Modern Modeling and Simulation, and so on. The study of the homing system simulation is very important in both theoretical and practical fields. In this dissertation, modeling and simulation on multi-mode torpedo homing system are throughly introduced. According to three homing mode:home guide, line-guide and tail-guide, different mathematic models based on torpedo guidance system are established, different simulation softwares are developed and are applied to COSIM(Collaborative Simulaition Platform) of the SDS(Ship Defence System). The main achievements and creative points of this dissertation are summarized as follows:1.Under the home guide mode, the integrated torpedo guidance system architecture, mathematic and simulation models are built. Based on the study of inner working principle, with Analytic Hierarchy Process, the guidance system is divided into several modules, such as target & environment simulator, signal processor, system trajectory simulator and so on. And every module is carefully analyzed and established mathematic model.2.Under the line-guide mode, the integrated torpedo guidance system architecture, mathematic and simulation models are also built. The methods which are often used in line-guide mode are introduced and compared to gain the suitable use occasion.3.Under the line-guide mode, the integrated torpedo guidance system architecture, mathematic and simulation models are built over again. Based on the tail characteristics and the homing detecting theory, with Analytic Hierarchy Process, the guidance system is divided into several modules, such as tail homing system target & environment simulator, signal processor, system trajectory simulator and so on. And every module is still carefully analyzed and established mathematic model.4.The simulation experiments on the basis of mathematic and simulation models of the multi-mode torpedo guidance system are carried out, the experiment signal waves and torpedo trajectory are given.5.The multi-mode torpedo guidance system simulation software are accomplished and then realized on the SDS simulation experiment platform based on COSIM. Presenting the platform in brief, the applications of the multi-mode torpedo guidance system in it are illustrated, and the software developing process is also introduced. At last, the software running examples and results analysis are given.
