The study of load characteristic has acquired some applied effect in recent years. But there are only the relation between load and the max or minimum temperature or the humid in most of study of load characteristic. Comfort index is an integrated value who includes temperature and humid and wind velocity etc. The weather of Jiangsu and zhejiang province is semi-tropical climate, the temperature is the sensitive factor affecting their power load. Thus the study of load change law according to weather is very important, which can improve load forecasting precision and supply gist for safe and absent index of power system. To forecast daily peak load accurately and establish reasonable and applied model for analyzing reference between daily peak load and weather factors, the rule of daily peak load changed with temperature and humid and wind speed and other factors based on dealing with historic load data is discussed.Firstly, the load characteristic of typical days is analyzed, and the relation between temperature and daily peak load and sensitive load is studied. The result indicates that daily peak load is reference to not only temperature but also humid and other weather factors. The result also indicates that there are probable abnormal load in historic load data, which result in error for analyzing load characteristic. All that establish foundation for analyzing relation between comfort index of human body and daily peak load.Secondly, the mean analyzing daily peak load adopted outside comfort index of human body is researched detailedly. Adopting t test mean modifies abnormal ones of historic load data. The usual formula of comfort index of human body is modified to applied to analyze daily peak load. The calculation outcome makes clear that the relativity between daily peak load modified by t test mean and comfort index and there aren't abnormal load data of daily peak load modified by t test mean in the same comfort index class. The calculation outcome also indicates that the modify of comfort index formula is reasonable and the modified formula is more applied to analyze daily peak load more.In the last, the relativity between inside comfort index and daily peak load is studied. Inside average temperature is calculated based on outside one, then the comfort index is acquired. Thesis modifies inside comfort index formula and compares the relativity between outside comfort index and peak load with the relativity between inside one and peak load. Some conclusions are educed. The first is the modified inside comfort index is more applied to analyze daily peak load than usual one. The second is the relativity between inside comfort index and daily peak load is less than the relativity between outside one and daily peak load. Thus the thesis decides to adopt modified outside comfort index to analyze daily peak load.
