| The present paper topic "the Shanghai Farmers Concentrates Constructs housing Housing Design Research" is the scientific research topic " Centralized Peasants Housing Plan Layout, Housing construction , Necessary Facility Standard Research" one of sub- topics of Shanghai Municipal housing, Land and Resource Administration Bureau(SMLRAB)'s in 2004.Since the nineties of 20th centry, with Shanghai's urbanized tactic of "Three Centralization"(industry going towards the district, agriculture going towards the mass production and management, population going towards the town), peasants housing of Shanghai's suburb has entered a centralized, smooth, regular era. A passel of experimental units of new-type residence of peasants has accomplished one after another. Has got some delightful achievements, however, centralized peasants housing has some problem on housing design. Basing on the on-the-spot investigation of 2004-2005 SMLRAB's scientific research topic on a group of newly built peasants housing which carried on, through enumerating the investigation fact, analysising and inducing massive investigations material, the thesis separately carries on the thorough careful analysis to the questions which existed among the current centralized housing design in the housing type, the area, the function layout, the ecology energy conservation four aspects. The research is for the purpose of clearing the characteristic and differences between the urban housing and centralized peasants housing on housing object, handling characteristics, construction way, area assignment, cultural characteristic and so on, and aiming at existing question among the housing design of centralized peasants housing propose the constructive key to the situation and the suggestion.
