The Spatial Interpretation Of Urban Axis In Dalian

Urban axis is not only a useful method to organize urban spaces ,but also an indispensable element of urban space composing. My paper takes Dalian as the example, which is different from Chinese traditional cities, researching its' history, void, nodes and effects on urban space structure, in order to summarize its' features and supply the urban designers with a full-scaled example in urban pubic spaces design.
