Design Research On Urban Sculpture Oriented Urban Public Art Space

Sculpture,as a form of public art,plays an active role in positioning and guiding the quality of urban public space.This paper studies the relationship between sculpture art and urban public space by analyzing sculpture works in urban public space.Through literature inductive summarization method,analytical comparison method,field research method and other research methods,this paper explores the dominance of urban sculpture in urban public space.Firstly,this paper analyzes the development of sculpture art in urban public space in China,discusses the characteristics and functions of sculptures in urban public space,and also investigates the vitality and value of sculpture in urban public space.Secondly,this paper studies the public space of urban wetland dominated by urban sculpture,explains the role of wetland parks in the urban environment system,and analyzes the public space of Changchun Nanxi Wetland Park by taking the sculpture in Nanxi Wetland Park as the main line.The sculpture design of Nanxi Wetland Park has the expressive force and value of the era,and the sculpture design of public space gives people a unique artistic experience.Finally,this paper explores the effective ways in which urban sculptures could play an active role in the development of urban public art spaces,and demonstrates that the relationship between urban sculptures and urban public art spaces must be well understood,the rules and characteristics of urban sculpture in urban public art space must be followed.Strategies such as multiple materials,endowing the charm of the times,and showing the value of artistic aesthetics are being promoted.This article draws the following conclusions: the public space dominated by the urban sculpture institute promotes the process of urban human life and human society;urban sculpture art stimulates the multiple behavioral experiences and composite functions of urban public space;the artistic quality of urban sculpture improves the ecological aesthetic value of urban public art space.
