The Study Of Home-based Care For The Aged And Its Design Of Housing Adaptability

The speed of the aging of population is accelerating in our country, and the trend of aging is becoming more serious in the following 50 years in our country. The aging of population has already become a major factor of influencing social and economic development. Solving the housing problem for the increasingly large number of elders and improving the living quality of the elders is closely linked up with everyone and every family.According to the analysis of the current situation of development and development trend of aging and the analysis of the elder's physiological and psychological characteristic and inhabitancy characteristic, this paper holds that home-based care for the aged is a more ideal mode of caring for the aged at the present stage in our country and carries out the analysis towards the advantages and disadvantages of inhabitancy form. On one hand, this paper puts forward the strategy of establishing the design system of home-based care for the aged and housing adaptability, and carries out analysis and demonstration towards each element of this system so as to put forward constructive suggestion, including the combination of dwelling size, adaptability of dwelling size space, key elements of detailed design, main points of the design of each functional space, design of outdoor environment and overall service networks; On the other hand, the implementation of the design of the residence for home-based care for the aged and its adaptability together with the construction and development must get corresponding environment support. Therefore this paper analyzes the supporting key elements that are correlated with the adaptability of the house for home-based care for the aged. These key elements include policy support, market support, adaptability of structure system of adaptability, research on residence adaptability theory and research on equipment and intelligent design, etc.The system of home-based care for the aged and its residence adaptability and its supporting system are an intact system, which discusses theoretical framework of alleviating the elder's living problem for the coming "silver hair tide" and offers thebasis of house for concrete implementation so as to construct the house that adapts to the aging society and thus create safe, comfortable and convenient living environment for the elders.
