| In this time, commercial building is in one of those public buildings which are most related to people's lives. And it has much development space either in quantity or in scale in the future under current economic situation of our country. But comparing to the quick development of economics and the increase of living standard, commercial buildings in our country are still too simple in conformation, and they can not suit contemporary consuming needs very well. These problems not only hamper the normal development of commerce, but also remind us that most people (including developers and architects) are still lack for necessary research on contemporary consumption. So this paper aims at analyzing commercial buildings in the aspect of "emotion" to help us solve current problems more correctly.In the beginning of this paper, it tells us that, "emotion" is the key tie between human beings and architecture. And changes in architecture and its so—called "principles" must have some kinds of direct relations to people's demands of their particular time. So "emotion" is one of the most important belongings of architecture.After explaining what is "emotion of architecture", the paper continues to introduce some related knowledges about consumption and commercial buildings so as to deduces the main demands in commercial buildings following a series of related conceptions and concrete behavior characteristics.Then, in the aspect of "emotion", this paper reviews the history of commercial buildings in different countries and periods by dividing it into three stages, so as to conclude its precious values and unavoidable drawbacks by the example of Chinese traditional commercial streets. After that, based on the above analyses, combining the background of this time, the paper puts emphases on analyzing contemporary commercial buildings and summarizing its characteristics of "emotion" .In the last chapter, the paper talks about design. It makes some explorations and some principles on how to design commercial buildings with"emotion". |
