Majority of the middle-voltage distribution networks in China do not useneutral grounding.The biggest advantages of this fashion is that when single-phasegrouded, three-phase line voltage symmetry was not damaged, so electricity userswill not be affected.It will stay a long time .And this is very important to thosenetwork structure is relatively weak and low level of automation . When thedistribution network reaches a certain size, the capacitive current to earth reachesa certain value. Eliminate arc coil retrofitting measures must be taken to ensure thesafety of distribution networks. This text via analysising the operation mechanismof action of eliminate arc coil in use, running data and experience, discussedPetersen Coil to ensure good distribution network in light of the actual results, andshould feature Petersen Coil models reasonable and rational distribution of themode of operation. At lat discussed the situation of eliminate arc coil in useconbined with the characteristics and specialty load of Anshan.
