An appropriate load modeling plays an important role in the analysis of power system flow and transient stability. Traditional load model used in Western Innermongolia does not reflect the actual load characteristics. It is necessary to establish reasonable model. Based on classical theory of load modeling, this dissertation proposes a new method: realizing the loads in electromagnetism simulation software PSCAD/EMTDC according to the field statistics, obtaining load characteristics by digital interruption experiments. Typical load characteristics such as electric-arc furnace and induction motor are obtained using experiment or mechanism analysis. Then an aggregated static load models and induction motor load models are built separately based on aggregation theory by PSCAD/EMTDC. The influence of induction motor load parameters on power system transient voltage stability is studied in last chapter.
