It calls congestion in the steady power system when a line or a transformer happened to be overloaded. Congestion is a common problem in electric power system and it affects economy and security of system operation. Reasonable structure of power grid is the foundation of power system security and stability operation. Power flow will become more rational distribution by changing structure of power grid. Firstly, this paper starts from the analysis of network structure reasonable or not that impact network congestion, deducts the function between transmission power and network structure, which lays a solid theory foundation foe eliminating transmission congestion from the angle of network structure. Secondly, DC power flow model is derived as an example of the network structure changes after the original network of branch power coefficient that is power influence coefficient, a method based on power influence coefficient is presented for eliminating transmission network congestion. Finally, linear AC power flow model is derived on the basis of the original network structure calculates power flow of changing network, a method based on complete network is proposed for eliminating transmission network congestion.
