Study On Soft Start And Control Of Induction Motors With Variational Loads

Transient process of thyristor-induction motors control system when starting softly under variational load condition is mainly researched in this paper, aimed at the subject of energy-saving control system on beam pump motor, the simulation and loop control of soft starting on induction motors with variational load is also analyzed.Analyzed the different starting characteristics of induction motors with variational load and control methods of soft start, selected the current-loop control method. Further more, behavior of star connected motor and inside delta motor is researched and compared deeply. Mathematical model of thyristor-induction motor system under various working state is established. After deep study on the simulation mode and control strategy of soft start, simulated the transient process of soft start with MALAB tools. Based on the simulation, aimed at inside delta connected motor, suitable control strategy for soft start of motor with variational load is designed.
