With the development of computer technology, computer analysis and simulation have already become important ways of modern mechanism research and play important roles in feasibility verification, engineering design and preferred plan selection. The research on mechanical analysis and simulation has the tendency of three-dimensional parametric entities modeling at present. On the basis of the researches on mechanical structure recognition and intelligent decomposition, a system of mechanical analysis and simulation on the SolidWorks platform is developed with C# based on the Assur Group. The automations of three-dimensional parametric mechanism modeling, mechanical analysis and simulation are implemented in the current study. The thesis's major progress is as following:1 A template of components is developed based on solidworks which simplifies the mechanical solid modeling process. The assembly of mechanical modeling is also achieved based on the joint type of the connect rod.2 Studies the strategy and algorithm of mechanical structure identification and intellectual decompostion. It brings about the highly automation of the extraction of the model feature information from the assembly document and of the model structure indentification and decomposition as well.3 Based on the Assur group analysis method, a analytic system of 3D entity model of mechanism under the Environment of solidWorks is developed, and the II grade Assur group and III grade group (RR-RR-RR) 3D entity model of mechanism which are established in SolidWorks can be analyzed in the system.4 The principles and methods of mechanism simulation under Solidworks is studied. Thereby, the mechanical model interference detection and the results of kinematic analysis are simulated by employing simulation under Solidworks.
