The commercial vehicle Electronic Controlled Braking System (EBS) can improve the compatibility between trailer and the tractor when braking; The response time of the pressure establishment and the release will be less, thus it can reduce the braking distance, improve the security. It can improve wear of each brake lining. The CAN bus technology is one of Electronic Controlled Braking System important technology. Break through this technology and design the CAN communication network according with Electronic Controlled Braking System are Electronic Controlled Braking System development premise. Therefore in order to better research Electronic Controlled Braking System performance, it is necessary to design simulation and test research of performance evaluation. There are not evaluating criterion of Electronic Controlled Braking System in China. Based on the abroad achievements in this field, in order to carry on the experimental study to CAN network of Electronic Controlled Braking System and produce evaluation index, the following research has been completed:1. At present, Electronic Controlled Braking System all has utilized the CANnetwork communication, therefore, the simulation evaluation to CAN network designed is criterion to build correct CAN network. First, this paper produces that basic method of automobile CAN bus network performance analysis uses the CANoe simulation. Performance index to evaluate CAN bus network mainly contain volume of CAN bus, time delay as well as the network load and so on. Therefore, performance evaluation to Electronic Controlled Braking System CAN bus is important part of application research to Electronic Controlled Braking System CAN bus. The conclusion is that CAN communication protocol is feasible, network communication is good, it is the good foundation for the behind experimental study.2. This paper produces evaluation indexes of Electronic Controlled Braking System are hardware anti-jamming and Electromagnetic Compatibility. Motorola Corporation MC9S12DP256 controller and TJA1050 transceiver may very good reduce the disturbance. The CAN bus interface circuit has designed. The CAN bus software design mainly introduces CAN bus initialization procedure, transmission and receive procedure under the environment of Metrowerks Codewarrior. The procedures use the C language compilation. The software and hardware union test indicates the hardware and software performances are very good.3. To examine the CAN network of Electronic Controlled Braking System, appears the wrong frame in view of the CAN network to carry on the analysis and processing; Uses the reverse confirmation method to confirm message identifiers of wheel speed and braking pressure, then to demarcate the messages and signals of CAN protocol, in order to checkout the demarcation coefficient of application layer and ensure that the CAN protocol designed is correct.4. Finally, this paper produces the test method of Electronic Controlled BrakingSystem CAN network performance evaluation is contrast test of that commercial vehicle has Electronic Controlled Braking System or not is run on the high-low friction coefficient and separation road. Performance evaluation method uses subjective and objective evaluation method. Referred to ECE R13 standard, it mainly takes braking distance and braking stabilization as objective and subjective evaluation criteria separately. When the commercial vehicle ran on the high-low friction coefficient and separation road, the signals like vehicle speed, wheel speed and braking pressure and so on have been tested in order to evaluate the braking performance of system. This is in-depth research on application of CAN communication in Electronic Controlled Braking System performance evaluation. The conclusion is that commercial vehicle braking distance is short and braking stabilization is good which has Electronic Controlled Braking System. The all implicates that the Electronic Controlled Braking System CAN module work well and the performance of CAN network designed is good.The article finally produces the concrete conclusion: This article proposes the CAN bus simulation, the software and hardware design, the test and the road test evaluation criteria have passed the inspection and the examination. Scene tests indicate that the system works normal and the performance is very good. The CAN communication between nodes is normal. It has well realized the function of Electronic Controlled Braking System. It provided the powerful safeguard for more Electronic Controlled Braking System research. It can make fruitful and also has foresightedness beneficial exploration for our country to independently develop the automobile local area network.
