This paper focus on the Simulation Study of the Vehicle Ride Comfort by theory of multi-flex-dynamics. The simulation model includes subassemblies including front and rear suspensions besides some parts of the vehicle, based on certain vehicle. By comparing the simulation of rigid-elastic coupling model and the rigid body model, in the rigid-elastic coupling model which the body is pretreated by cohesion function on the super element theory and set as elastic, it could get the impact of the Vehicle Ride Comfort under the condition of the elastic body. The MSC.Nanstran and the ADAMS/Car software would help to do with the simulation study.The whole article includes five chapters:In chapter one, we review on the growing history, primary task, research method and the application in the research of vehicle system dynamics of Multi-body system dynamics. The summarization about this article is done.In chapter two, the paper involves the several model methods and it focus on the rigid-elastic coupling theory. It could guide the further understanding about the background and the use of the MSC.ADAMS and MSC.Nanstran, also will lay the foundation for the related use of the software.In chapter three,with the help of the ADAMS car part,it would get the simulation model which includes the flex body system,the rigid body system,the front and rear suspensions system,the tire system and the steering system. After the two vehicle model are made,we first demarcate and verify them based on experimentation data. In chapter four, it completes the simulation of the Vehicle Ride Comfort. First, it introduces the ADAMS/Car Ride model. Second, by establishing two road model for the car body, it could simulate the model on GB/T4970-1996 at the speed of 50,60,70,80km/h respectively. It would get the chart by comparing in the time domain and frequency domain using the acceleration tested in the simulation. At last MATLAB software would be introduced to program and compare the results.In chapter five, it is the conclusion. It states the meanings and the outcome we get. The further target in this field will be supposing the parts as elastic and Rigid-elastic Coupling. It turns out that in the Simulation Study on Vehicle Ride Comfort the car body does certain effect on the comfort and the REC model is more reasonable.In conclusion, with the theory of Multi-body System Dynamics software and FEM software as the investigative tools, the research on Vehicle Ride Comfort would provide the useful points for the automobile design. As the develop of the computer and the software related, the Simulation Study on Vehicle Ride Comfort with the Combination of Rigid-elastic Coupling will definitely play a key role in the vehicle design.
