In recent years, automobile develops quickly in china, and automobile market became a quick developing, vast field in China's consumer market. Facing a hot market competition, it is easy to win success with high quality products. And an advanced testing system is an important instrument to measure product's quality. Basing on an analysis of advantages and disadvantages of fatigue testing equipment's of automobile parts in both here and aboard, combining present situation of automobile parts'fatigue testing, this paper shows the appliance that non-contact electromagnetism exciter to excite mechanical resonance system. It uses the resonance principle and applies the virtual device technology and LabVIEW development environment which are relatively advanced in present testing technology field. Under a relatively easy and generally utilizable hardware arrangement condition, establishing an automobile parts'lifespan testing system with the main part of software can be not only accomplish each main testing function, but also provide a high efficiency and well operator window. At present, it is a new method in the field of automobile parts'fatigue testing equipment. This method improves the efficiency of the testing.This paper has the following main parts:1. Introduction of testing technology's development, the parts of testing system and the important significance of testing technology. Introduction of the appliance and the powerful development predominance of virtual device in the testing field.2. Detailed introduction of virtual device, including its definition, structure, characteristic and its development tendency. It also gives a detailed introduction of LabVIEW development platform.3. Introduction of some basic knowledge and important technical criteria during the process of data capture. It gives an important support to the data capture principle's learning and understanding. 4. Introduction of the structure of virtual device testing system of automobile parts'lifespan, which is developed by this paper, giving a detailed explanation of each program module's function and its relevant algorithm theory. These introduction and explanation are beneficial for application's usage and the readers'deep understanding of operational ways.Basing on the electromagnetic-mechanic resonance coupling method, the virtual device testing system of automobile parts'lifespan which is developed by this paper,can be used for every automobile parts'test. The core of this system is software part, the main testing procedure as followings:[1] It can carry on repeatedly frequency scanning, until find a same resonance point.[2] It can excitation signal by the computer to carry on the automobile parts'resonance.[3] It can carry on the capture, analysis and handling of data at the same time.[4] It can do the data storage.[5]The procedure will be stop running automatically, when the resonance frequency go down to the initial resonance frequency.5. This paper does a brief introduction of the hardware resources which are need in the system, including sense organ, data capture card and the electromagnetism exciter's choice and appliance. It also gives a detailed explanation of the power amplifier. This can help the readers to have a deeper recognition of the whole testing system.The virtual device testing system of automobile parts', designed by this paper, which is base on the best electromagnetic-mechanic resonance coupling, is satisfied the design requirement basically and has powerful practicality. It is easy to operate and maintenance. Its function is easy to extend, which is beneficial for expanding the scope of automobile parts'upgrade testing.
