As the hydraulic system is easy to realize load control, speed control, direction control, centralized control, process control and stepless speed regulation, especially with the development of electronic technology, digital technology, computer technology and communication technology, hydraulic technology has developed rapidly. Hydraulic equipment is widely used in various fields, including papermaking, textiles, construction, water conservancy and hydropower, aerospace, metallurgy, mining and other industries, but the hydraulic equipment can run normally and reliably is to a large extent depend on the quality of hydraulic components which are selected. Therefore, to ensure the hydraulic equipment run normally and reliably, it is necessary for test and analyze the performance of hydraulic components. With the development of computer hardware and software technology and computer-aided test technology, especially the emergence of virtual instruments, the performance testing of hydraulic components has gradually reached the level of computer-assisted automated testing. However, most current test system only for testing of the performance of a hydraulic component, functional single, test system integration is not high, low efficiency and does not meet the requirements of a modern multi-function test system. This paper with the combination of the Electro-hydraulic Proportional Control Test Bed in Hebei University of Engineering and the advanced virtual instrument technology has developed a comprehensive performance test systems of hydraulic components, which can simultaneously test the performance of hydraulic pump,hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves. Specifically in the following areas have a very comprehensive and in-depth study:(1) This paper introduced the hardware resources and the software resources of the comprehensive performance testing system of the hydraulic components. In hardware aspect ,the composition of performance testing of hydraulic components,the selection of sensors, data acquisition cards and signal conditioning devices, as well as anti-jamming measures have been major researched; in software aspect introduced the main features and functions of LabVIEW software and key researched communications between the data acquisition board and LabVIEW software.(2) Carefully analyzed the performance characteristics of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves, summarized the testing methods and formulas of characteristic testing of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves,and designed the loop of performance test system of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors, hydraulic valves.(3) Guided by the advanced virtual instrument technology, this paper applicated LabVIEW that is graphical Control software has developed a comprehensive performance test systems of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves. The system has functions of data acquisition, data processing, data analysis, data real-time display, the curve display, data storage, data query and printout of test reports and user interface and so on.(4) Application of the designed test system has tested the performance of hydraulic pumps, hydraulic motors and hydraulic valves, the test results showed that: the functions of test system are comprehensive, not only meets the measurement accuracy requirements,but also the testing process is simple and convenient and have a good effect. Proved the design concept and design of this method is correct and feasible.
